After checking my service records after this most recent service, I realize have had the same repair done 6x in the course of 5 yrs. I have had this noise coming from under the dash suddenly, and relentlessly, so I have to address it immediately. It is an a/c actuator and apparently there are 3 of them. And apparently I have had them all go out -twice each. No one I know has heard of them, but your service manager said they are a common problem. You guys think just because it is covered under the warranty it is no problem for clients. But it is a big inconvenience, which is why I bought a new car to avoid inconveniences like this. But as for the service, I am not under my extended warranty for this last repair, and when I left the car was told will cost $59 for the diagnosis but this fee will be applied to the bill. I am expecting a computerized diagnostic, it was known that my battery just died SUDDENLY the day before so I figure I may learn something from this diagnostic test. I asked about the cost of the actuator repair, and was told to expect a $200 bill, but when I get the phone call, I am told it will be $420. So I am thinking maybe someone can do it cheaper elsewhere but I am already stuck for the $59, and what really disappointed me was that they tell me they didn't do an electronic diagnostic, but a manual one (which I already did myself, it takes no special certification to diagnose the problem after 6x down this road. Anyway I called the service mgr and they knocked off $100 but believe me this won't be where I go for my next problem, which I am sure will be an actuator. I feel I was taken advantage of. Your service should include things I was not expecting, but they should be positive unexpected things.

I bought a HHR around two years ago. I have had a lot of problems with it! It was used . I had asked for the car fax salesman keep putting off getting ot for me! I did not demand it and did not get one, that was my error. So I don't think I will buy any more cars from you, you need to trust the salespeople that you are dealing with. Ps maintenance dept. has been good only thing is that the same problem keeps occurring and my extended warrant will over soon.

I brought in my 2009 Cobalt for an oil change. The technician identified a bearing that needed to be replaced. The noise caused by this bearing had been noticed for awhile and this had been brought to the attention of a technician. We had thought it was secondary to the type of tires we had replaced on the car, not even thinking that there was a mechanical cause. The technician during a prior visit indicated that this was the cause of the noise. Well since it was correctly identified and fixed, I now have a much quieter car. This noise has been going on for over two years. I am not really complaining, as I appreciate that the source has been identified and corrected just would have liked it to happen sooner

I've always had my vehicle serviced at Tom...
I've always had my vehicle serviced at Tom Gibbs, but, was recently unable to schedule an appointment due to work commitments. As my vehicle was overdue for service, I came in unannounced on a Saturday morning more than expecting to be told that you were booked solid for the day and couldn't be taken. Your service personnel quickly took a look at their upcoming schedule, and even though they had no slots open, took my vehicle immediately and got me in and out quickly. As a consumer, I always appreciate when businesses and their people go out of the way to please their customers quickly and courteously. That, and my trust in their maintenance is why I will always go back to Tom Gibbs for my automotive needs.

was trying to get tires from while my car...
Was trying to get tires from while my car was there was told once you would match the price. So i called tire kingdom that was 864. 90. Then called discount tire they were 809. 40 both also had a 70. 00 rebate for the michelin p26570r16. I was told i would have to get a written copy why would would i drive all around to get a sale for you? Call them yourself you will get the same price i did. Why should i jump thru hoops for you? Dont tell customers you can match price if you really don't want to.
